it means u need to output 50 watts per channel...from the amps/pre-amp and tuner/reciever....the amp in particular needs to have at least 50 watts output per channel.

ps. i got some nice jbl's from out of the trash and re-coned them both for 50 bux or so....bet i could have done it for even less myself
