At this time, of particular interest is how you can organize
successful peaceful gatherings of thousands of people and at the
same time claim no leadership heirarchy. This is fascinating and
worthy of study and learning. I am here to learn. Please accept me
as your student.

Welcome Home!

I've got a bunch of Rainbow stories on my own website at
http://users.isp.com/farfallabill/RbStories.htm

But no real understanding of the Rainbow Gathering can be gained just
by reading. You should actually attend some gatherings, especially
the national every year from July 1 to 7, and one of the regionals
that go on thruout the year. To get an even better understanding of
the social dynamics, I recommend coming early for Seed Camp and
staying after for Cleanup. During the gathering proper, find a
kitchen that you like and volunteer to help with the food preparation
and cleanup.

Ask any question you want, but keep handy your flameproof coveralls
as you would on any other Usenet group.
