Prices for gas in Iraq are around $3.20 a gallon

RIdiculously high, if we think they0re full of oil under the soil.
Here in Italy it's 1,3 euros per liter, which makes up to something
like 6 or 7 dollars per gallon. We're totally in the hands of those
good old seven sisters, and having a national oil company doesn't help
that much: we're still in the ***.
The saddest thing? When the euro moved from 0,9 dollars to 1,3
dollars, the price of the damn gasoline went UP, thus creating a huge
and un-motivated inflation. Wait, the reason is clear: the seven girls
made more cash that way.
