And Henry feels sorry for all of you who enjoy the benefits of Internet
newsgroups like agr, and don't realize that someone is willing to take
the responsibility to continue that communication from the site, to all
the Family that can't make it for any number of reasons and/or would
like up to date info as they come in from Babylon. That level of
communication will simply not be available if us communicators have to
run to the Steamboat lib.

You know folks, if and when we do get WiFi (and street lites) up at
B.V., you can just ignore it and go about your merry way in the meadow
2.5 miles to the east. Over there in the meadow you can then deal with
1. all the trading activity on the morning of the 4th, 2. all the
plastic, and 3. the battery powered amps at G-Funk the night of the
4th. You won't have to truck the 5.0 mile round trip to B.V. to be
offended by all the Pholks of "lower conscioiusness" than you who don't
see the beauty of nature out there in Rock n Roll Land.

May I remind you that Rainbow is for all members of the Homo Sapiens
species who posess a belly button? Not just for those belly buttons
who "see the beauty of nature" in the exact same way you do! Seeing is
in the eyes of the beholder. We are not talking about WiFi in the
meadow or tipi circle here. We are talking about WiFi in B.V., which
is already a reflective microcosm of Babylon and has been since the
very first year we had one back in '78 Oregon or '79 Arizona, as I
recall.

seriously. no doubt the mountains surrounding the gathering will be
echoeing with cell phone bell tones and folks will be boppin around
jacked into their IPods. just the new world. the way it is. my
superstitious inner witch doctor says that the psy magic will become
polluted and decrease as electronic interference increases. but what
does that ignorant savage know? i still think $2500 to convience a 2
week campout is silly.
