well ... if the "Thier" ritual is working it simply means that "They"
are better at it than "we" are. "we" don't even have a "We" tho "we"
have had over 30 yrs to develope a viable "We". there is no cohesive
"family/tribe" for the "Them" to destroy. "our" "We" remains vague and
nebulous (and therefore powerless). "our" "We" is a never was. "our"
"We" is a hopeful dream that didn't manifest in reality (unless a 2
week annual camporee is enuff of reality for you). ya can't blame the
"They" for "our" lack of devotion. how can One believe a once a year
collective Om will thwart the forces of the "They"?

"They" got so scarred of that collective Om "they" did everything but
start shooting. Can't justify a crusade against Islam if the people
you're pretending to serve openly pray with Muslims. Egalitarian
community, even if it only lasts a week or two, is a direct threat to
the hierarchical "them" that preach: "Fear your neighbors and we'll
protect you."

naw ... all "They" have to do is keep an eye on "us" for a couple of
weeks then "we'll" disperse and go back to whatever it was "we" were
doing before "we" were Oming and partying.
the only reason "they" feel the need to keep an eye on "us" at all is
because the Official Rainbow gathering creates a HUGE crowd and there
is potential for a powerful collective. "They" neednt worry tho.
the potential will never be realized.


No war of any kind for me thanks. I go Spirit Camp where I expect
fewer than 20 to show up, and if the FS tell me I'm in the wrong place

righto. like i said ... "They" neednt worry. there is no "We" that
will do anything to disrupt the status quo.

If there were anything in the works wherein "we" might disrupt the
status quo "we" certainly wouldn't be silly enough to announce it on
Usenet and risk being jailed on conspiracy charges, would "we"?

well, since there is no "We" "we" can't conspire to do anything ...
which was my point in the 1st place. heaven forbid that "we" be
cohesive beyond that once a year Omalong. all kinds of ramifications.
