Probably as good a guess for this year as any. I'm guessing 25k for this year BTW.

The largest national gathering ever was Co 1992 and I think it was 35k but don't remember exactly (it was over 30k anyway). For most of the 1990 and early 2000s we were in the upper 20s (26-29k) by most estimates. Then starting in 2002 in MI we started getting smaller but were almost normal size in MT and CA (out west).

So given that out west makes us bigger, CO was the biggest at over 30k but we are getting smaller recently I think 25-30k is a reasonable guess for this year.
