someone will come after you.
Bush should not get the blame here IMO.

What you're essentially saying then is that when the US uses
subterfuge and deception it is okay since it's for "the good
of the nation", but when one of the US's sworn enemies talks
such trash, they are providing us with a convenient excuse
for pre-emptive war.

Then again, our most decorated military leaders (take H. N.
Schwarzkopf, for example), are also accomplished liars. This
we celebrate as leadership. In short, the US puts out 2
faces, simultaneously, thinking no one will notice.
