Hotel VW

This is an email I just recieved from a friend in Denmark about a
journey he is making...

So it begins!

After many months planing, finally things are falling into place and
the project 'Hotel VW' begins 6th May 2006!

Here you will be able to see photos, video clips and hear audio clips
as well as follow the journey through the updated travel log.

On 6th May I travel alone to Thailand to find an old VW camper / hippy
bus (rugbrød). I have 2 weeks to find one, buy it and make sure its in
good enough running condition to get me back to Denmark. On 21st May,
Per Liebeck from Open Sky Film will join me in Bangkok, then we set off
along the long road home.....stopping to record local musicians from
the busy cities and remote mountain villages we pass through. Stage one
takes us from Bangkok to Hanoi in Vietnam where we will leave the car
and return to Denmark on 24th June to make preparations for stage 2 -
Vietnam to India - which should begin around the middle of July. Stage
3 takes us from India to Denmark.


The final one hour documentary film will be shown in 2007 on Danish
television DR2 Tematirsdag.
