I am learning, growing, grieving, calming.
I am leaning on others,
loving, hoping, wanting, allowing.
I am together and apart,
alone and not lonely,
united and delighted.
I was sinking,
now I am thinking.
I was fearful, tearful, bold and aware.
I am still aware,
restraint has displaced care.
Not wanting to be misunderstood
I mean I am doing what I should.
Love will forever rule,
I try to follow her mystery path.
Where will I be led?
Exactly where I head.
And am I surprised?
Not really,
I have open eyes.
Now, the times call for action.
Action I would rather forswear.
I am no victim,
nor fool of the heart,
I am woman, lover, helper,
spirit of love and error in learning.
It is for growing.
I am learning.
But I knew when I began,
this would call me into places
I had never been.
This is what I sought,
to know of what I knew not.
All is forgiveness,
innocence is forgiven
before error even occurs.
There is nothing after,
but understanding
and love remains,
always,
the way, the truth and the light.
The better way.
The right hand path
of leftists.
Somewhere in this crazy experience,
joy lies sleeping in my heart,
ready to pounce
at the first sign of
peace.
Some things never go away.
This path has constancy.
It is a good way.
