Hey Swan... if you want to use something EZ, and make MPEGS.. dont go for
FREE ware..download RIVERPAST for windows..and BUY the .mov plug in..keep in
mind, i WAS NOT able to use this software for years due to the price. but,
it will make MPEGS of .mov and AVI files..

Now, keep in mind the first lesson of Streaming for video creation..ALWAYS
START WITH MPEG..or AVI... since you already have .mov(QuickTime). you will
have a VERY poor MPEG..try to reverse the process and you get frame loss,
Square pixel Video.. and jump-Skip. audio missing. etc..

if you get AVI, or MPEG MASTERS.. I would use VEGAS 5..

It seems when they say "free" they mean "free trial" which is ok.
Woodstock has plenty of fancy video editing stuff on his computer. I
just need to convert these files and that's it. I'm not into the bells
and whistles. I just want something simple that will do the job. Any
suggestions? . . . . . swan . . . . .
