let's see. where oh where to start... i don't do coke. i've abused
maybe an oz of it sum total over a lifetime. this is a song that
might become part of a rock opera. minimum i was just chaneling a
black woman from the late thirties in New Orleans. I've been through
it with a child. Oy. I too have a daughter I haven't seen in nine
years. she's angry with me because i'm not a yuppy and I smacked her
about a dozen times over her childhood and screamed about fifty. i too
quit a a drug at a gathering: wyoming on the third, sundown at the
gate thirty years minus two months cigarette addiction. havent had a
cig since. gatherings... naught better. <R>
In rereading this i'm thinking christ, miranda, you're a heavy chick.
But the to sob for fact there's nothing here i've mentioned about the
three grave subjects that are actually weighing on my poor old heart.

both are girls, same age too! i am proud of the one who finished school and
got her doctorate, vet school is hard. she lives in my house in washington,
has a going business around those parts.

the other, well i got to love her but not the dope, she got me a few times
in the begining, as i was paying her college fees, but she had already
dropped out of school and was feeding her brain with the coca. i figure she
will have to hit bottom before she goes up. even has two kids, which were
taken from her, but the good news is since she was indian, our tribe had
first dibs on the kids when they were taken away from her, so they live with
my other daughter. sometimes it pays to have a background of tribal ways, to
outfoil gov. i can see it now, bounced from one home to another using dhs as
a ruling party. spiritrising

Funny how the offspring of hippies rebels against the rebellers. A
friend of mine and his wife have three kids, the parents are huge
deadheads and used to tour all the time, between rainbow gatherings,
and now thier kids are straight laced as hell... while the kids of
straight laced people show up in droves at welcomehome

Awww, sweetie, that purely sux. Anyone who produces the quality of the

Here's one for ya: my son, who loves me I know, has just told me he's
not comfy if I don't stop being me and settle down and not go
running
all over the country... see, I'm sposeda turn into this little ol'
lady
who doesn't go more than 25 miles away from home and only take my
lovely tricked-out van a coupla hundred miles away to take my glass
stuff to shows, then come back home agin and act like old ladies
act...
take some adult ed classes at the local community college, get a cat,
and all that old ***...

My daughter-in-law has a much more realistic response:"So since when
is
it his business how you live your life?"

Life is never an easy thing, but it is life... better than the
alternative under any circumstance.

peace and ya know I love you,
