Re: Good Morning

first an upmost, a well insulated house does not need continuos heat. if you
are in the moutains are your heater won't keep you warm all night, find out
where you lose the heat, and fix it. swan had the right idea, stones and
masonary hold heat a long time. carla had a good idea, too flu control is
very important. now banking a small woodstove only polutes more. thats no
the idea at all. so fix the problem. i have extra insulation on the inside
of my tipi, its made for winter months, my fire had a rock tunnel to bring
in out side air. my opening was almost shut, the tipi held the heat and i
did not have to have fire blazing all night, coals covered with ash burn
very slow, and burn all night. once the tipi was up to heat i even closed
the opening more, to concerve heat. back to basics. fire is your freind. but
beware cali laws are not, and a smoking woodstove can quite possibly get ya
a ticket if they wanted. that why they require catalytic converter on wood
stoves there now. spiritrising
