Troops -should- have been on the ground in the Katrina area before the
hurricane hit. Should have been the National Guard, who were busy
making money for Bush's cronies over in Iraq.

It is these "privateers", such as Blackwater, Halliburton, KBR,
Bechtel, etc. that really scare me. I feel like the country has been
taken over for them, and Bush's administration is only a front for
their greed.

I don't see why more Americans don't understand this. Start with Bush
Sr. sec of defense, *** Cheney, giving contracts to Halliburton, then
becoming Halliburton's CEO, then becoming Vice president, then our
going into Iraq, then Halliburton's profits soaring, then them getting
caught with overcharges in the hundreds of millions, and when a senator
asks Cheney on the Senate floor, why we don't discuss this, Cheney
replies, "go *** yourself".

Are these things related? DUH?

Government? What government? The government has been taken over by
defense contractors. Hellloooooo America.... anybody AWAKE?
