In this morning's newspaper--
Chihuaha Pack Attacks Policeman
Fremont, Calif. --- A pack of Chihuahuas attacked a police officer who
was escorting a teenager home after a traffic stop, authorites said.
The officer suffered minor injuries, including bites to his ankle
.... The five Chihuahuas escaped the 17-year-old boy's home and rushed
the officer in the doorway...

The next thing you know, someone will be wanting to ban chihuahas as
being a menace to society.
However, on the bright side, this could also be the answer to all the
problems at the gathering. Just train 'em to be Shanti Sena dogs. I can
picture it now. A pack of roving chihuahas--with their handlers, of
course-- arrive on the scene of a conflict and are let loose. If
everyone says,"Oh, how cute," and mellows out, end of problem. If they
don't respond to cuteness, the (trained, of course) chihuahas could then
be deployed in a line to separate combatants. In a really tense
situation, they could be loosed on an unruly crowd.
Yep. Chihuahas are the answer, especially at front gate.
Now if we could just figure out how to sic 'em on that damned NRMT and
the permit-signing cabal ...
