Should MARIJUANA be legal?

I'm in school and had to do a perrsuasive report sorry for my spelling
by the way very very tired
Anyway i'm doing my report on legalizing Marijuana
now personally I do think it should be and thats not just because I
smoke it either. when doing my research i found out alot about it. I
already knew it was used for medicinal purposes but i didnt know to
what extent so I found out and man I was I surprised about all the
things it could be used for
LIKE~Relief from,nausea,appetite loss,reduction of intraocular
pressure(pressure within the eye), reduction of muscle spasms,relief
from chronic pain which actually is a real disease. Also it aids in
these diseases,AIDS- it can help reduce nausea~vomiting and loss of
appetite caused by the ailment and from medications,GLAUCOMA-reduce
swelling within the eye alleviating pain and somtimes slowing or even
stopping damage to the eye,CANCER-stimulates appetite and stops nuasea
and vomiting from the medications,MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS- can limit the
muscle pain and spasticity caused by the disease also can relieve
tremors and unsteadiness of gait,EPILEPSY-can prevent epileptic
siezures,Some other examples are ARTHRITIS,MIGRAINES,MENSTRUAL
CRAMPS,ALCOHOL OPIATE ADDICTION,DEPRESSION and
many many more other problems.
POT was legal up until 1937 when the Marijuana Tax Act was passed.
Also there was another act passed called the controlled substances act
in 1970. Anyway just thought you guys might like to read somthing
that isnt negative publicity about it
