Show me any group with 100% open books?
As the Red Cross, Salvation Army to see there books and see what happens. Does that make the group any less.
I think anyone who sees what we are doing on how little $$$ can see we are not getting rich or stealing from the books.
The lack of a presentable book to show on-line is more an issue of we are to busy and disorganized than any foul play. But if anyone is seriously interested and not just looking to dig up dirt I would be happy to share the part of the books that I know about. I know where most of the $$$ is going.
In a nutshell we raised the following
$1200 is seed money in Asheville. $400 went to gas and light supplies (tarps etc) the rest went to bulk food.
$2500 raised by my paypal account. $200 went to Everybody's kitchen for supplies and gas, $1000 went to construction of the cafe and some food the rest I am sitting on because we think supplies are winding down and we will need to spend more.
CALM raised (Stone wanna chime in on this) I think about $800. They spent about $3500 sofar, mostly on electrolyte solution and an AED. The AED (I think about $2500) was paid for from Stones pocket, then veterans for peace gave a generous donation a week later to cover it.
The local hat has gotten about $200 in it from someones estimate. It bought serving stuff and other small items.
There is another hat that Arron Funk has, I know nothing about it. Last I heard there was $800 in it. Rumor was someone put $1600 in it but last I heard it was not there yet. He is sitting on that for the same reason I am sitting on the rest of the paypal account.
No Spirt Rising shut the *** up.

why are you degrading the efforts of people who are helping their brothers and sisters
i certainly don't want to discourage anybelly to lend a helping hand. what exactly did i say that made me sound like i was degrading their good efforts or am i just pointing out that a promise was made to be accountable. to me, rema et al is only responsible to those who donated money to their cause but i do see potential pitfalls and i don't see any balenced books, credits, debits and details of what went down as was insinuated at the beginning of their adventure --- vapor hose etcertera
