Huh, what's going on? A holiday event with a pet drop, and I actually
get the pet quite early in the holiday? On my pet collector, no less??
This is totally against the rules of RNG drops involving me ;-)

Ok, this is at least the second time this has been mentioned, so I
have to ask, pet drop? I assume it's from the reward package, right?
All I've gotten is one or two toys.

Damn Lump of Coal pet, I been doing it daily for Nik with his hunter
because he loves to have those pets. Got all the junk toys so far
which is not exactly what he needs given his propensity to fill his
bags with junk, hundreds of snowballs, thousands of darkmoon fair
coins and things that look fashionable when wondering around town.

The other day he says "Daddy there's [some pet] on the auction house
that I don't have. Can I get it?"

"How much?"

"1,000 gold"

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooo................"
