My Paladin got his Hallow's End achievements in 2008. That means this
is his fourth Hallow's End. He still does not have the mount. RNG is
not fun.

Ditto for my priest. Although being fair, the dungeon finder has only
been in since last year so I probably didn't do as many attempts as I
might've done in 2008 and 2009, but certainly last year I did it every
day (two alts got the mount, mount collector did not, yay!) How I wish
they'd make holiday mounts and pets BoA when you only get one chance
per year of getting them.

No more having to load in toons when the hourly timer runs out to go
up to the inn keeper.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Between work and my commute, I
could visit about three inns a day, as opposed to someone who was
retired, works at home, etc., who could conceivably do all 24 visits
in a day.

Lol they still have to sleep - being at home the best I could do in
previous years was 16 or 17, was too tired to wake up every hour in
the night too ;-) I'm glad it was changed since it wasn't fair to be
down to how many hours you could check per day... I just wish it was a
bit less easymode now, at least making the masks cost significantly
more tricky treats would mean either having to choose between masks
and pet or else having to go round and find all the buckets which
don't count to the achievement, do all dailies etc to be able to
complete it. As it is, it's just do the bucket achievements, buy masks
and pet, done. Bit flat really since you can do the lot in 3-4 hours
and be done with the holiday for that character.

On an unrelated note, have you gotten the new cat pet yet? That thing
is too cute for words.

That pet is awesome! Love how it's got its own broom lol, as soon as I
saw that I just had to get it on my warlocks, one lock has it now and
I'll get started on the other one today or tomorrow :-)
