But I have so many addons that I'm not 100% sure it's only ratingbuster helping me compare the items, but ratingbuster is a must addon for me anyway.

Yes it's ratingbuster check the screenshot on the site called stat summary there you will see immediatly if the item you mouseover has better or worse stats than what you have so it's easy to make a quick decision.
