Well, it's handy for people whose dualspec ends in two totally
different types of stat wanted, I guess? Assuming they didn't get a
cloak for each spec off Ahune already.
Slightly irritating, as I just bought enchants for the 353's on 3 toons,
and again a few days later for the 365's.
Dammit, forgot to enchant my new cloak, sigh... my enchanter's running
low on mats with all the new stuff I'm getting :-P
Wonder why they didn't offer something different for either the holiday
boss or the Thrall "love connection" quest? I know a back piece is kind
of generic, but maybe a ring? Trinket? Don't get me wrong, I like my 365
back (and now neck peice since I got through the firelands portal), but
just seems kind of strange to offer easy 353 and 365 backs like that
within days and even at the same time...

Well, Ahune always dropped cloaks for as long as he's been in the
Midsummer event, so that makes sense.
That was my assumption, too. Ahune drops what he has always dropped, so it
would probably have been a hassle to make him drop something else.
One could of course argue, that the Thrall quest line could have dropped
something else, then. But as Catriona says, anything that is armour type
specific would make 4 choices difficult...
Yep, I've seen quests with up to 6 rewards, but never 8-9! And I can
imagine the numbers of upset players from whichever spec did not get a
suitable item if anyone got left out (I'm mildly miffed that there
wasn't a spirit cloak for healers, but at least I could reforge the
general caster one, which *does* have lovely stats for every spec of
caster if you reforge a bit of spirit onto it)
I guess they put so many rings, necks and trinkets on the Hyjal vendors
What did I miss. Did they add new necks and rings to existing Hyjal vendors?
Or have they always had too many of those? Or are there new vendors I
haven't yet discovered?
New vendors, when you do a load of dailies and unlock more stuff,
there's 3 different vendors (have to unlock each individually), each
of which has various rings, necks, trinkets, pets, recipes and the
like all spread out so most people will want to unlock them all over
time. You should already have access to the first one, at the first
daily area in the zone (troll guy next to Malfurion at the place he
planted the tree - sold me a nice necklace :-)), rest take longer, but
there's stuff for every spec in there.
