Once again, it was an easy decision not to kick the hunter, since I
didn't feel that 7k dps deserved losing his chance for gear (and
possibly the daily). Moreover, we were getting it done (and I felt
that wiping on the 3rd boss, in this case, was more of a healer issue
than a dps one). Also, I had recently been kicked before from a
group, and know how frustrating it is. And this is with going to EJ,
reforging, reading up on spell rotations, etc. I know it doesn't
matter if, in the end, you still don't do your part, but it wasn't
like I didn't care.

So, when do you kick someone for low dps in a Heroic?

only when they are screwing up and not listening to what to do.

As for what happened to you I would have turned the priest in for griefing
so he can enjoy his little 24-72 hour ban for his mouth

So what gives you the impression that you can turn the priest in for
either griefing or swearing, how you will do that, and how you can
expect them to get 24-72 hour bans?

Have done it, multiple times.

I've seen some pretty shitty stuff on bad heroics and groups, and I'm
not aware of once, after various peoples threats, of anyone ever
getting a ban for any of those.

Abusive or obscene language will result in temp bans.

Though I wouldn't mind if I had a button to report someone for
griefing. The hunter who kept pulling and pulling and pulling groups,
wiping, saying sorry, and doing it again.

This is probably blizzard's random auto shot bullshit.
