I remember going from level 68 - 70 (in SMV before Northrend opened) without sitting to eat or drink even once, without casting a heal that wasn't instant and without dying. I used one bandage (from within a bubble when soloing one of the elite quest demons in Legion Hold).

If you ever found yourself short of mana or health (by a lot of chain pulling), the solution was to start another fight.
