This is one I can actually answer, as I'm currently pushing my third
toon from 80 to 85. Your "equipped" ilvl is your *real* one, with the
equipment you have on. Average ilvl also includes everything in your
bags (or at least the best of them, or so I thought), so it includes
all the cloth (and leather, for my Hunter and mail, for my Warrior)
items that you only took to push your average ilvl up to be able to
get into dungeons. It works a treat when you get ninjavited to a Guild
run that you may not have the actual ilvl gear for ;-)

That said, the ilvls on armory bear no relation to the ones ingame :-P
Armory tells me my average ilvl is 330, 338 equipped. Now, 338 sounds
about right, ingame it actually says 340 (got a nice shiny epic
trinket from Tol Barad in my bags, since I'm wearing my dps set on
armory, which would explain the small difference), but why does armory
say my overall average ilvl is lower than it really is? If it's
counting *everything* in my bags then it should be really tanked by
the ilvl 60 Timbermaw trinket I'm still carrying...! Think Armory is
just plain wrong as far as ilvl goes, which is a shame.
