Wow, that is impressive. Is that 487 characters (if so, from how many
players?) or 487 players?

Hmm, not sure how many actual players, but a lot of those 487 are
alts. During peak evening hours, we have between 25-40 guildies on at
a time.

I see. So you're about the size our guild was before half of it left to form
their own raiding guild. We are now considerably smaller, just the casual
reminder. Since Cata hit we probably average 10-25 players at prime time.

There are about three other people beside me who are working on that. I can
see why some people dislike wasting those cute bunny rabbits but I have no
compunction shooting the little bugs and snakes that scurry around in most
instances or caves.

Well, I don't even do quests that have me kill yellow (neutral) mobs.
I have a particular weakness for turtles. :-)

Hm, aren't you in danger of getting stuck on a "kill yellow mob" quest in
the new linear questing mode?

... which will take me a while yet. I just hit revered on the weekend,
so in theory that is about 6 to 7 weeks worth of rep *if* I manage to
hit the weekly cap (which I don't usually, especially now that I have
Therazane at exalted and run a few dailies less).

Do you happen to know what the weekly cap is? I've always wondered
this; people ask a lot in guild chat, too.

Yes, in fact I do know (I checked it to enhance Factionizer for Catriona :-)

It's a base cap of 3500 rep per week. It is modified by any rep bonus your
character might have:
- 5% for guild level 4, 10% for guild level 12
- 10% for being human

The two stack, so the lowest cap (non human in guild at level below 4) is
3500, the max cap (human in a guild at level 12 or higher) is 3500 * 1.1 *
1.1 = 4235.

As for that Armadillo pet, I have heard that they are reducing the rep
needed to Revered in the next patch. I was going to say, "Yay!", but
then I really thought about it, and I agree with your line of
thinking. There's nothing wrong with every perk not being a great
"WOW" moment. As a pet collector, that Armadillo would feel really
nice if it stays at Exalted. It's a double gift - a really neat pet
and Exalted with your guild. :-)

Exactly, if things go as they seem to go I might hit 40 exalted reps at
about the same time :-)

Cheers
Urbin
