This story is both sad and funny at the same time. Please send the

My priest enters the Lost City in a random PuG. Now rior to that day I
had done Lost City twice and both runs went well. I had also done
Halls of Origination three times with success and on top of the heap I
had probably done Grim Batol 8 times by that point in time.
I always considered Grim Batol to be the hardest of those 3 and the
Lost City to be the easiest.
So I sit to eat some food to get a spirit buff and the tank runs off
and pulls the first pack fairly far from the first room where I am
eating the spirit food. I run up and have to apply emergency heals to
the tank and to one of the DPS. The DPS dies about 1/2 way through the
fight. It had gotten to a point where I had to concentrate on the
tank.
So I drink up and res the DPS, then I have to apply a Fort and Shadow
Prot to the DPS. The DPS is at 1/2 life. I sit to drink again because
just ressing, and applying the buffs cost me over 25% mana. The tank
pulls the lone mob for the quest kill and the DPS joins in at 1/2
life. I run to the fight to heal and the tank has taken too much
damage and dies and so I heal the rest and the mob is dead.
Now I am hearing comments from the group - the typical wtf healer
healer etc etc.
So I res the tank and apply buff and even heal him jsut in case he
wants to run off like the DPS did and I sit down to drink and the tank
does run off and pull the next pack and I ahve to run and catch up and
I am heling the tank and I get feared and run into a corner but by now
everybody is hurting bad and I can't get that tank up and the tank
dies and DPS dies and now I have aggro and I die and so does one other
and a druid disappears.
Okay now they are swearing at me and telling me to quit the group.
Sorry I am not quiting because I don't want deserter debuff. I type
out what I consider acceptable to wait for prior to the pulls and I
have been here twice and boy oh boy I am seeing a lot of swearing in
chat wtf dude you're the problem you suck GAY quit the group wow you
were here two times? wow your guild is level 1? wow you suck quit the
group.
Turns out the 4 of them were from the same server and guild (I will
not name it here)
It was late and I was not going to get a deserter debuff becasue I
wanted to get a dungeon in before bed. I would wait until they could
kick me so I could queue up again.
So they pull the boss and we kill the boss and nobody died but there
was a lot of damage due to the explosions and spikes.
Finally I got kicked and requeued.
Ended up in Grim Batol.
We walked Grim Batol and kick some serious arse and for the life of me
I could not figure out Grim Batol could have been such a piece of cake
to run but the Lost City was a serious fail.
Three cheers for the dungeon kick!
OH! OH! OH!
Orion
I havent healed past say level 26 or so...but I know exactly what you
mean. I tell people "pay attention to my mana like it was your
health". I think tanks are too impatient. Hell, when I'm playing my
paladin tank I get dps who start pulling because i am waiting for the
healer to get enough mana back.
this game can be a serious tardfest at times
