Well that decision didn't last long. Before I got chance to do that
we had another raid, and I found I'd got enough valor points to buy the epic
ring instead (it was the biggest upgrade for me out of all the choices).

Grats! Got myself the Hellscreams Reach mace yesterday which was a massive
upgrade, also let me use the nice offhand my scribe crafted while skilling up
so that's vastly improved my gear level. May actually try healing some pug
normals soon, I should have enough gear to handle them if they're not totally
incompetent (although being pugs, that's not guaranteed at all :-P)

You should be fine. I was just looking at your armory page - you don't have
much less spellpower than me (5762 vs 6248) and your out-of-combat regen is
more than I had when I started normals, although I can't see what your
in-combat regen is like for holy since you logged out in disc.

I've just noticed that the new armory doesn't have the "find an upgrade"
feature of the old armory, which I used to find really useful. Shame.
