:) How did you guess? I blame (rightly, or wrongly) the fact that I
can't make any money on enchanting materials on the new(ish) DE system.

On the other hand, with my enchanter being an alt, it's quite nice that my
main can now gather enchanting mats so the enchanter can now skill up
enchanting a bit before even starting to quest towards 81.

I guess there are advantages and disadvantages to the new system. And
amazingly, eternal essences and large brilliant shards still go for absurdly
high amounts on my realm, or at least did right through WotLK, haven't
checked since then.

The shards were used for Shen'dralar rep, hence the pricing. No idea
why essences were worth so much but I didn't complain, especially once
I realised that being grouped with an enchanter on even another
continent still gets you the DE roll box... cue much logging of my
bf's enchanter and leaving it afk in group while I farmed DM ;-)
