For instance you can´t save and return to some battle.
You can't do that in most games. In many of them, you can save and return to
the start of the level, but then you still have to kill everything in the
level to get back to where you where when you saved it. Now much different
than hearthing to a nearby inn and logging out.
Also it costs. Buy a game and then pay to play your own game it doesnt
make sense.
When you buy a game like Doom 3 as you mention below, you play it once, and
there's not much more to do. With WoW, we get periodically get new zones,
new items, new bosses, new quests, etc-the game is always expanding.
Play some good game like Doom 3, Quake 4 or Painkiller :Overdose.
I played Doom 3 to the end. Never played it again after that, because it was
garbage.
