Huh? Ret paladins have plenty of healing spells available.

After cata i didn't see any on my lvl 50 ret pally. There didn't
appear to have any in the talents as well.

I'll have to start a new ret pally and see what went wrong. My quest
log got wiped clean as well, so i just deleted the toon.

Paladins have healing spells from the beginning. Is this the first time
you'd logged into the chracter since the 4.0 patch dropped a few weeks
before Cata? If so, you might have needed to go to the trainer to
'refresh' your skills.

Levelling from 80 to 85 in ret spec, I found a really effective thing to do
was replace Templar's Verdict on my bar with Word of Glory. I then used it
the same way I would TV -- sacrificing some of my DPS to constnatly heal
myself. Made for very smooth questing.
