of them just recently learning they CAN CC, along with a history of just
following a tank as he/she charges into everything.

judgement just as they throw off their CC, and then toss Avenger's Shield
once they're closer (and far enough away, one hopes, from the CC target).

I've found that some of the CC spells are a bit forgiving... for example,
I've accidentally hit a hexed target and not broken it. It definitely doesn't
last through two hits, though, and it isn't something I count on. :)
