*raies hand* Ret paladin here. And I've been doin ga lot of CC in my
(normal) dungeon runs, though I often have to remind the tank that I can.

The one thing that sucks about Repentance is the range. It's only 20
yards, 10 less than Polymorph, and means I often end up body-pulling the
pack and trusting the tank to gather them off of me. Don't see much way
around that if the mob we *need* to CC (a caster, say) is not the closest
one.

Then it's up to the tank to not accidentally break the CC (which I will
confess I'm bad at, carelessly throwing my shield around).


When I have tanked (a skill I'm only just learning, so I'm bad at a LOT of
things), I try to be mindful of where the CC mob is, and make sure I pull
things back from there. If I have vent contact with the party (usually),
I'll try and coordinate with the CC so that I initiate the pull with
judgement just as they throw off their CC, and then toss Avenger's Shield
once they're closer (and far enough away, one hopes, from the CC target).
