Last night I was playing a level 40 fire mage in Dustwallow. In the
Inn I was challenged numerous times for a duel, which I ignored and
let my no duel addon deal with it. This guy then followed me out on
to the marsh, and then kills me. I checked to ensure than my pvp
flag was set to disabled, which it was, before I resurrected. And
damn me he's waiting for me and kills me again. A third time this
happened at which point I logged off.
Now the point as I understand it s that if you are flagged as pvp
that makes you fair game. But when pvp is disabled, as I was, is
there any way of another player over riding that setting and killing
me, as happened?
I have no interest in duelling or in pvp play, and to be forced into
playing it like this is just not on. Is there any point in
complaining to Blizzard? Unfortunately I got his class, a level 42
druid but not his playing name.

What were you doing before entering the Inn? There is a quest where you
have to fight some people talking to the guards. Usually you end up
fighting them. This quest will flag you pvp. It will still say disabled
when checking but your name will turn green as if flagged. If you have
your own name disabled you most likely will not notice it.
