this level range, the plaguelands have moved down by about 10-20 levels so
at 36 you should be fine questing there.
but before CATA came out. The quests were level 35 if I remember right.
The real problem is that, once you accept the pirate friendship, you
cannot do anything else until you finish the chain, and this deck
swapping is the start of the chain. Accept the precursor to this (from
the Baron on the top deck of the inn) and you are committed... :(
I should mention that I parked him about 2 weeks ago when I hit this
brick wall. I was kinda hoping Blizzard would respond to the complaints
on the forum and ease up on the deck spoiling rate. So far, no change
though... (I'm guess they have higher priority things on their plates
right now)
umm - I did this quest, and so did a few of my guildies. This is required in order to continue the rest of the chain which brings you to be captain of one of the boats, and the whole attack on Booty bay Pirate run I had written about in here a few weeks ago. I failed the first time, and that was because with my hunter, my pet kept getting in the way of the spots and I'd have to adjust where I was standing to move my pet and I got overwhelmed. After I dismissed my pet, I just hit each spot with the mop as they came up. It kinda is an easy quest, and the only thing I can think of I remember about it was that the spots were not overly "jumping out" at you with huge sparkles. I have my video settings on ultra. If your having a hard time, maybe try turning up your settings just for this one quest if they aren't? Other than that, I can't offer much than to search at least one spot ahead so you know where you are going to before you finish one. You are allowed to miss a couple, so if your not going to make one at the far end of the ship, look for one that is going to go "super nova" that is closer. If you try for the far one, you'll end up missing that one, and the one you could have gotten, and things will quickly get out of control. I think you have to keep this up for about a minute...(timed quest)
See if you can do it though - the rewards of that end chain event are worth it! :)
