I'd heard they were going to make a Tree form glyph for cosmetic
reasons, but that appears to have been nixed.

From what I have read on the Forums, there are just as many resto
Druids who want this change as those who don't, and from what I've
seen, Blizzard seems determined to remove it. No last-minute calls
from the Governor.

Tree form will now be a cooldown - something that increases healing
for a short duration, like a Paladin's Divine Illumination - but it
certainly won't be the same not having a permanent Tree form.
