Real ID not the real issue...

How Blizzard views your personal information is.
When I started playing WoW, I was explicitly promised that Blizzard would
never sell or give my personal information to anyone else.
The new ToS states that Blizzard now views your personal information as a
company asset, to be leased / sold to whomever they please.
They seem to have made some kind of deal with Facebook, the details of which
are sketchy to non-existent.
I am seriously thinking of filling out a complaint form with my state's
attorney generals office.
It also seems, unless you read further fine print and jump through the hoops
just so, your data is not deleted if you just cancel your account.
I may have to change my sig.
I have sent the following to privacy@xxxxxxxxxxxx with the subject line "Do
I have any?":
When I signed up for WoW, I was explicitly promised that my personal
information would never be sold / given to anyone else.
Now you think my personal information is a company asset that you can do
with as you please?
Please tell me this is not so!
I pay you.
I trust you.
You totally betray me?
Break your promise in your corporate greed?
Please explain how you think this is ethical and even legal.
Awaitiny their reply with sinking heart.
