dipping toes in lake of macros

Hi all, I am considering getting into using self made macros. I say considering cos it might be a world of pain I want no part off but we shall see....onto the question(s)

With the standard UI all bars enabled how do I know which bar is which? I have main bar (with i assume number 2 bar on arrow), left bar, right bar, (above main bar) and 2 side right bars.

I am hoping to load my macros onto the 2nd *hidden* main bottom bar (bar 2?) can I use this bar if it is hidden?

If not what order are the bars named or numbered. I have tried forums and google but not really sure what terms to use.

Like I said it might be painful as hell to do but give it a go.

Thanks in advance.
