I had the same feelings about 9 months ago. I cancelled my subscription and didn't come back for 6 or 7 months.
While I still haven't seen, much less beat, the LK, its mostly due to my
guild self-destructing, and my feeling too wowed-out to find another in
a hurry. The daily Heroic and the weekly raid are done in sleepwalk
mode. There are still quite a few gear items I'd like to get, but the
knowledge that I'll be typing 'DELETE' on them in a few months is quite
demotivating.
There's a new raid instance coming under Wyrmrest, but it will be almost
certainly be on farm by most ICC teams within two or three weeks.
I've been trying to backfill some of my raid achievements, only a
handful of raids are left. Curiously, I've discovered my realm has a
couple 'level 70' guilds, where there is a cap on the level of the
players. I'd be more impressed if it were'nt the case that half the
people in their raids are PUGged 80s (including me).
I've been playing for nearly 3 years, and am starting to think its time
to do something else.
Maybe you should try it. If you don't ever feel like coming back then don't worry about it. It's just a way of having fun and passing the time and there's no point doing it if there's no fun involved.

I also had this feeling a few weeks ago...5 characters at 80...endless heroics for daily Frosts..weekly raid...chasing that elusive new piece of gear to make me feel special..a few dailies here and there...a few small forays into ICC with my small, social guild. Yawn. I'd had enough.
So I took the decision to finish playing all of my 80's until Cataclysm. Instead, I am now levelling, via the LFG tool, a fully-pimped shaman. I haven't had so much fun since the 'early days'..with 4 days playing time i have managed to reach lvl 64, experiencing many level-appropriate instances for the first time (solo questing is officially over for me!)
I would thoroughly recommend rolling an alt and giving it a try.
I guess I can kinda understand. I joined the whole WoW experience late in the game (Nov. 09), so it's not boring to me yet. I had only been focusing on my one toon (human mage). She is less than a month away from being about as far as I can take her without getting further into ICC than Putricide on 10 man and being able to pug more 25 mans in hopes of winning a roll on a Mark of Sanctification, so once I get her last 4 pc of her tier 10 set, I guess she'll be limited to ICC runs and maybe frost runs so I can stock up on primordial saronite for my new alt when he gets to 80. I started a druid (lvl 45) so i'm finding a new world and new quests I never did before. I like the fact of my two toons working together as far as professions. So I guess I am at where a lot of you have been at for a while, but I'm just starting, so I'm not bored... :)
