From what I see it works just like a keygen, wotking offline and using
your wow account and its serial number as keys to generate a code. Is
this correct?
So not 100% hack-free, provided someone can obtain your serial
authenticator number?
And reverse engineer all the code to work out the number sequence,
which is hugely complicated.
There's keygens for virtually any piece of software out there, so I guess it's not so hard for someone with the right knowledge.
As long as you are not dumb enough to
give someone your serial code its hack free.
from the FAQ:
You can associate your Battle.net Authenticator to the World of Warcraft account you play by logging into Account Management. Click the "Add Battle.net Authenticator" button and then enter the serial number on the back of your Battle.net Authenticator.
So you actually have to enter the serial n. from your PC, even if you do it only once.
I'm not criticizing here, just trying to understand why they're pretending money for a keygen. Even the phone application isn't completely free.
