Warlock (Forums / Talent Calculator)
Affliction
Shadow Embrace: This effect can now stack up to 3 times, up from 2.
However, the periodic healing reduction effect has been reduced from
3/6/9/12/15% to 2/4/6/8/10% per application.

Hm, is this a buff or a nerf? I guess on long fights it doesn't matter as
it
will have time to stack 3 times, on short fights it might be a nerf...

It's a straight buff, regardless of fight duration. Shadow Embrace is
primarily used for the 5% shadow damage increase per stack, which hasn't
changed. It just means that now you can stack it 1 more time and get 15%
extra damage instead of 10% extra damage. The periodic healing reduction is
just a minor side bonus for the talent, and the "nerf" to it is nothing
compared to the 5% more damage on every spell an aff lock uses(and that also
equates to 5% more self healing from haunt, drain life, and siphon life,
since the healing from all of those are based on damage dealt).
