How do you apply that? What software exists to compute the hash? Presumably
if you do that for WoW, you have to copy and paste the hash. (I've used
passphrases for certificates, where the prompt is built into the
certificate library.)
In situations where I have to use a short password, I use the first letter
of each word of a line of a song, such as yamtssfa (guess the song). You
have to be careful though, there's an amazing tendency to hum the song or
even say the words under your breath as you log in. No tells! *
