It was the same at 69 - 70 in TBC. You go from being in the top of the bracket to being at the bottom of the bracket in an instant. It's tough when it happens and you get slaughtered often.

I actually didn't have as much of a problem with my Paladin healer when I dinged 80 as I did with my Priest healer when she dinged 70 in TBC. That could be a difference in class or it could be that I got to 80 more quickly than I got to 70 so the others in the BGs weren't as far ahead of me.
