Need advice for low level protadin

I decided to go ahead with my plan for a low level tank, and have
levelled a paladin to 10 now. I've given him the WG plate/mail
shoulders, and the main hand thrash blade sword, enchanted with
crusader.

Now I have to start thinking about talents. I'll be levelling him
mostly through the LFG tool as a tank, so assumed I'd just dive
straight into the prot tree. I've tried searching for sample builds,
but pretty much every prot guide focuses on aoe grinding and most say
to go retribution till 30. This may or may not be helpful to me.

So those with more paladin knowledge, how should I start out his
career?
