I guess the problem is inside the game code. This happens to me also
on both MacBook Pro and HP laptop with Vista. I do not use external
keyboard and both of them use separate mouse one being cordless and
one with the wire. So completely different hardware and operating
systems but still the same problem.
One way to see it is if I run to the water and press autorun, I will
go underwater in few moments. There is no any way I can level the
character to keep his head up from water. If I press space, level the
camera horizontally with mouse, I still go down. Though I haven' tried
to zoom in to first person view to see if it makes a difference.
You have a point there,same problem here
maybe the game code.
