Farm it as Horde, sell it to allies in the neutral AH.

It's not really all that rare -- if you are willing to run WC 5 to 25
times up to Lady Anacondra you will get it. If you have Skinning, you
will also get a few hundred gold worth of [Perfect Deviate Scales],
which make a twink belt that is still in demand.

The hatchling dropped in my first WC run and I picked it up, having no
clue that it was rare. It was 3 months later (but only about 12 runs
honestly) when I got another one as a gift for my teammate from the
first run. If I got another one, I think I would barter it and not
put it on AH. Not long ago, when 500-1000 gold seemed like a lot, I
would have said something different, but now that I have Grand Master
Transmutation and there are blacksmiths and a jewlcrafter on my team,
that kind of gold is our take on a slow day :-)
