That's true.  Missing some spells while soloing or in a 5-man is annoying
but won't really hurt you that much.

I tend to hitcap myself to +2 levels anyway, since it can actually
hurt you a lot if you miss that cc spell you really needed to land, or
miss the big nuke that'd finish a mob off and it gets some big hits in
while you cast another. It's not crucial, but I just hate seeing my
spells miss so I always aim for it. I don't raid as dps at all though
so never bother going for the 17% - I might on my shaman since I may
consider doing a 10-man or two sometime but even then it'd be as a
secondary set with my main priority being maximum damage while
hitcapped to lvl 82.

There is an addon called hit assist.  As far as it tells me is that
for lvl 82 boss's I can lose 422 of my 468 hit and I will be fine.  I
want to get that trinket that gives me 128 hit and the 512 haste for
20 secs.  Plus its a lvl 245 item or T9.5- Hide quoted text -

46 +hit? That doesn't sound nearly high enough for ANY class...


All I need as a warlock is 79 hit for my spec. Most of the time I am
not in the game when I answer so my numbers are not quite on but today
I am in the game so I can get the right numbers.
