Sure, Ancestral Knowledge is useful for any shaman. And typically, an ele
shaman will spend most of their points in elemental, then dip into
enchancement to get that talent, Thundering Strikes, and Shamanistic Focus
for example. Resto shamans will spend most of their points in the resto
tree, then dip into enhance to get that one, Improved Shields, etc. They do
not typically dip into 3 trees.

Lots of specs back in the day were 41/5/5.

Back in the day maybe, today, definitely not.


Depends on the class. I'm running a 7/57/7 Marksmen spec right now which
has been quite effective.
