Getting the Hallowed Helm in the Hallow's End even was the only
standing between me the the 310% VPD mount from the 'What A Long
Strange Trip It's Been' meta-meta achievement, on which I'd been
working for an entire year. The HH drops at a moderate rate from the
Headless Horseman daily, and at a low rate from the hourly Treat Bags,
and the daily Crudely Wrapped Gifts.
Funny you should say that. I worked like crazy last year trying to get a
squashling - I did the dailies, obsessively popped on as often as possible
to trick or treat, killed the horseman 5 times a day, etc. Never got one,
and only saw it drop once. I did get a hallowed helm though.
This year, I sign on, visit an inn, and there's a squashling in literally
the first treat bag I open. I'm nowhere near the protodrake because last
year's hallowed turned me off on doing that meta-achievement at all, but
I think I'll start doing them again. *
I'm jealous! At least 6 trick or treats, the daily and 6 summons of the
horseman today, and no pet... maybe tomorrow! Got the hallowed helm at
least, so it's only the pet I need now... also made the nice discovery
that the horseman is easily duoable, and nothing like the struggle
Direbrew was, phew - much rather run with my bf and be guaranteed to win
the drop I need than have to trust to lucky rolls in a pug.
Odd. I find them both pushovers. I heal, and neither is what I'd call
a tough healer task. I prefer the HH, since the fight is more varied
