Thanks for your advices. They are very useful.

One thing I wonder about is that my Wow-friend says that my healing is
slow - he's a wannabe tank. I dont understand this. I heal using
OK-'healing cycles' as fast as I can (=as the CD is over) which I have
checked here, in guides and by asking others. The combinations I use
depends on the party - strong tank/weaker DPS's contra weeker
tank/'normal' dps.

I'm very seldom OOM (I used to be but this is over now thanks to you
guys) ... but I'm slow. Why does he say this? Does he compare me to
another healing class (I'm holy priest) or can I speed up my healing in
some way? In my gear I have given priority to +mps and spirit.

Hmm, do you tend to wait until he's taken damage before starting to
heal? It's usually a good thing to keep renew up at all times and cast a
prayer of mending any time he's on full health and you're not doing
anything, since both those will help offset any incoming damage faster
than you can react to cast a heal.

If you mainly use greater heals for healing (and don't use Serendipity
to reduce the cast time) then it's often good to start casting before
the heal is needed and cancel the cast (by moving, jumping, hitting
escape etc) before it lands if it's not needed - that's how I healed for
a very long time, however with the Serendipity changes to reduce cast
time, I tend to now flash heal enough to get the cast time down and then
treat greater heal like a large flash heal.

Some +haste on your gear can also help with speed of healing, but you're
quite correct to prioritise regen *first* - my priority gearwise was
regen, then crit (for surge of light and holy concentration - crit is a
good addition to regen) and only after I felt I had enough of those did
I really look at haste; even now I probably have a lot less than some
priests do, however I don't raid much and that's where you really need
the haste, you can manage well enough without it in 5-mans.
