I recon that, but the main benefit I get from that is not epic flight
for each of my characters (only have 3 epic fliers out of 6 at 70+),
it's just that I can simply NOT bother about doing those boring
dailies (all of them, I can't stand the concept) and still get enough
pocket money for gear repairs, enchants, gems, trade skillups and the
occasional AH epic. I simply don't see my gold stash pass the 5k limit
more than once a year (it's been 3 years since TBC launched, and I
have 3 epic fliers, sounds right? :P). In that sense, money is not
easy to collect for everyone.

Choosing not to collect it and it being "difficult" to collect are not the
same thing. Gold is easy to get, period, choosing not to doesn't make it
hard to get, it simply means you choose not to take advantage of the easy
ways to do it. That is of course, your choice, but it still doesn't make
gold difficult to get, either.
