Sometimes wow freezes up on me. =A0Nothing moves onscreen and I can't

still move the mouse cursor and talk on Ventrilo.

However, I am unable to reach the Windows desktop to bring up the Task
Manager and kill the wow application. =A0Alt-tab does not work,
Ctrl-Alt-Del does not work. =A0I am forced to reboot the PC which seems
like a silly waste of time.

Is there a way to get back to the Windows desktop when wow freezes?

Got this from a forum for Planetside but it works on WoW too:

Alt+Ctrl+Del
W
Alt+E
Enter

Sometimes have to spam alt+E and enter a bit, and sometimes you just
can't get it to trigger, but it does work at least some of the time. Be
warned if you have some other window open beginning with W you'll likely
kill that too, and may have to repeat the process a few times until it
reaches WoW ;-)

The same process but a little less dangerous!

Alt+Ctrl+Del
T (for Task Manager)
Click Processes Tab from Task Manager

Ah, but if you can't see the task manager because WoW is frozen and covers
the whole desktop, that is difficult, right :-)

Find 'Wow.exe'
Alt+E (to end the process)
Enter (confirm action)

Just making sure you always are in the "application" tab when you close or
minimise the task manager should be enough. You can then Alt-E (closing
whichever program is selected in the list) until you hit wow.
